Join Istvan Orosi for a birding and plant identification trip at the Burnaby Lake Regional Park. We will meet at 8:30 am at the Avalon Avenue parking lot, entrance from the Cariboo Road. First heading towards the Nature House along the main trail, then returning, but this time we will take the outer loops. We will be looking for recently arrived, migrant warblers, flycatchers and already nesting birds. Please brush up your bird sound identification skill, focusing on the locally nesting common songsters. Bring binoculars & spotting scope if you have one.

The walk would be finished before noon. Everybody should dress for the weather,  the walking surface is very flat, with the exception of the Cariboo Dam Bridge area with a few stairs.
