Leona Axbey and Maureen Collier will co-lead a walk in this area that will include the pond area, the seawall, and the forested area by the skateboard park, where the bald eagles have been nesting in the past. The walk will start at 9 AM and last approximately 2 hours. This is an easy walk on mostly level ground. There is an option to bring your lunch and eat together outdoors, weather permitting.
Various ducks, waterbirds, and migrants are seen here regularly, as well as some local characters. Check out eBird for a gander at what’s been spotted recently. https://ebird.org/hotspot/L374029
Pre-registration is required and the trip is limited to 15 participants, including the trip co-leaders. Email Leona Axbey to register: firstname.lastname@example.org
