SUMMARY:BEGINNERS’ BIRD WALK AT QUEEN ELIZABETH PARK\, SUNDAY APRIL 26\, 
 8:00AM
DESCRIPTION:Join John Chandler and Neill Vanhinsberg for a walk around the 
 park checking duck ponds\, wooded areas and gardens for spring migrants. T
 he walk will start at 8 AM and last approximately 2-3 hours. This is an ea
 sy walk on mostly level ground with a few small hills. Trails are either p
 aved or hard packed. If you have mobility issues\, please let us know and 
 we can cater the walk to your needs. There will be a limited number of bin
 oculars to lend out if you don’t have a pair.\n\nThe emphasis will be on
  finding and identifying birds from a beginner’s perspective\, then\, ob
 serving their behaviour. Questions are encouraged! You can check out the l
 atest sightings in the park on eBird here.\n\nPre-registration is required
  and the walk is limited to 15 participants.  Email Neill Vanhinsberg to 
 register: nvanhinsberg@gmail.com  Washrooms are available on site. Nature
  Vancouver members will be given priority. Pay parking is available in th
 e park but street parking is free. There are bus stops close to the park.
