Annual General Meeting and Volunteer Appreciation

The 102nd Annual General Meeting of Nature Vancouver will be held on Thursday May 28 at 7:30 via a Zoom invitational meeting. Zoom access will be enabled at 7:05 pm (after the daily Front Line Provider appreciation) for folks who wish to connect, even if by online means, with fellow members and long-time friends. The meeting will start at 7:30 pm.
At the business part of the meeting, the President’s and Treasurer’s reports will be presented for approval. Election will be held for the new Board of Directors for 2020-2021. The short business session will be followed by Annual Volunteer Awards and Scholarship presentations. Please join us in this first and extremely unusual on-line AGM to support the goals and aspirations of our society, more important than ever in these trying times.
SPECIAL NOTE: The financial statements and draft minutes of 2019 AGM will be posted on the website for member appraisal by May 25, 2020 and we ask that members refer to these statements in advance and during the online meeting should they have any questions, concerns or comments.

The Nature Vancouver Awards and Scholarships will be presented following the AGM.
Board of Directors – Nominations
For the Board of Directors’ election, the board can have up to a maximum of twelve Directors, and nomination for the current eleven candidates have been received allowing the addition of one more Director. Additional nominations should be sent to board@naturevancouver.ca up to the nomination deadline of Thursday May 14th. Nominations from the floor are not allowed under the bylaws of Nature Vancouver.
