SUMMARY:2ND ANNUAL CYPRESS PROVINCIAL PARK BIRD BLITZ
DESCRIPTION:Experienced birders will lead walks/hikes to 6 different areas 
 in Cypress Park to record species and numbers.  47 species were recorded 
 in 2025.\n\n 	\n\n 	Yew Lake/Old Growth – 2 km\, 20 m elevation\, max 15
  participants\n 	Hollyburn – approx. 4km\, 150 m elevation\, max 10\n 	B
 aden Powell/Old Strachan – approx. 4.5 km\, 150 elevation\, max 10\n 	Bl
 ack Mountain Loop – approx. 5 km\, 360 elevation\, max 10\n 	South Howe 
 Sound Crest – approx. 5 km\, 160 elevation\, max 10\n 	Cypress Bowl Road
  by car – beginning at Hi-View Lookout birding at road accessible locati
 ons\, max 10.\n\n\n\nGroups will meet between 7:45 – 8:00 AM outside Cyp
 ress Creek Lodge  (groups 1 – 5) or at Hi-View (group 6).  Dress for c
