Experienced birders will lead walks/hikes to 6 different areas in Cypress Park to record species and numbers.  47 species were recorded in 2025.

1. 1. Yew Lake/Old Growth – 2 km, 20 m elevation, max 15 participants
   2. Hollyburn – approx. 4km, 150 m elevation, max 10
   3. Baden Powell/Old Strachan – approx. 4.5 km, 150 elevation, max 10
   4. Black Mountain Loop – approx. 5 km, 360 elevation, max 10
   5. South Howe Sound Crest – approx. 5 km, 160 elevation, max 10
   6. Cypress Bowl Road by car – beginning at Hi-View Lookout birding at road accessible locations, max 10.

Groups will meet between 7:45 – 8:00 AM outside Cypress Creek Lodge  (groups 1 – 5) or at Hi-View (group 6).  Dress for cooler temperatures and wear proper footwear.
