SUMMARY:2025 VANCOUVER CHRISTMAS BIRD COUNT
DESCRIPTION:The Christmas Bird Count is the world’s longest running Citiz
 en Science Project. The goal of the count is to have fun and learn about b
 irds.&nbsp\;As a bonus\, the data collected helps scientists and others to
  track changes in bird populations across North America and around the wor
 ld.\n\nThe 2025 Vancouver Area Christmas Bird Count will be held on Decemb
 er 20. To participate\, please register at https://cbc-registration.nature
 vancouver.ca/\n\n&nbsp\;Birders at all levels of ability are welcome to jo
 in the count:\n\n 	Field Counters travel and cover a portion of the Count 
 Circle on their own or in a small party\, counting all birds they find.\n 
 	Feeder Counters record all the birds visiting their feeders or yard from 
 a stationary position.\n\nMore eyes are generally better and beginner fiel
 d counters can help find birds for experts to identify\, or can act as a s
