This year’s Summer Camp will be a drive-in camp to Manning Park. Two one-week-long camps will be held from July 28 to Aug 4, and Aug 4 to Aug 11, 2024. Registration now closed. The 2019 Nature Vancouver summer camps were held in the spectacular Niut Range, just to the west of Tatlayoko Lake, or two hundred kilometres west of Williams Lake.  Located at the tree line at 2000 metres, the camps offered abundant opportunities for botanizing, birding and rambling ranging from easy strolls to more vigorous all-day hikes.  The first camp ran from July 21st to  28th with the second camp running from July 28th to August 4th. This year we celebrated 100 year anniversary of Nature Vancouver. Two camps were held at McGillivray Pass, from, Sunday, July 22 to Sunday, July 29, 2018 and Sunday, July 29 to Sunday, August 5, 2018. McGillivray Pass is located in the Bendor Range of the Coast Mountains, between the village of Bralorne and Anderson Lake. Camp Report and Photos by Liz Dohan Driftwood Lodge in Smithers was a magnificent setting for Nature Vancouver’s drive in camp. The camp site was located next to a pristine alpine lake near Mount Renshaw, just to the northeast of McBride. The location, which connects with the National Hiking Trail, featured spectacular alpine meadows and terrain suitable for rambling ridge walks and circumnavigation of Mount Renshaw on the NHT.
