Our Annual Christmas Social was held on Thursday, December 12 at St. Mary’s Anglican Church in Kerrisdale, Vancouver. About 75 members attended and brought food to share. Hot apple cider, coffee, and tea was provided. Lots of visiting, celebrating the holiday season, and eating a variety of delicious food, with hot spiced apple cider. Report by Cynthia Crampton; Photos by Nigel Peck Night Quest is an annual event, held by Metro Vancouver, in Pacific Spirit Park, to experience nature at night. Two kilo meters of trails are lantern lit for exploration. This year’s event was held on Saturday, March 23rd. Clear weather brought out the crowds – estimated at 4,000.  Nature Vancouver has been involved with Night Quest since 2015. BC Nature provides awards for regional science fairs for twelve regions in BC.  BC Nature has volunteers attending most of the regional science fair, but is still looking for someone to attend the Greater Vancouver Science Fair at UBC on April 6th, to present the awards in the junior and senior categories.  The BC Nature regional awards ($75 each) are for the best natural history project done by a student in grades 6 to 8 (junior ) and a student…
