We are a Vancouver, BC-based nature organization with a focus on education and outdoor activities.
We offer a variety of activities including EVENING PROGRAMS (from September to April), FIELD TRIPS (throughout the year), an annual SUMMER CAMP and occasional WORKSHOPS, and more.
The BIRDING, BOTANY, CONSERVATION, GEOLOGY, MARINE BIOLOGY and PHOTOGRAPHY Sections provide a greater focus in specific areas of nature. Nature Vancouver has been a strong supporter of Young Naturalists’ Club of BC now known as NatureKIDS BC. MORE INFORMATION
Whether you are just discovering the natural beauty of Vancouver and BC or are an experienced naturalist, we know you will enjoy the atmosphere and camaraderie of Nature Vancouver.
In March 2020, due to COVID-19 pandemic, our outdoor activities and in-person Evening Programs were put on hold.
Since then we have conducted our weekly EVENING PROGRAMS via ZOOM Video Conferencing.
In November 2020, the Board of Directors approved new guidelines and protocols for leaders and participants. More information on FIELD TRIPS page.
Nov 24, 2020 Update: At the moment the field trips are STILL on HOLD to comply with recent directives from the Provincial Health Officer.
