This 24 page booklet guides visitors through nine posted stops around the farm and its forest for a 45 minute walk. This guide was written and illustrated by Stella Ramey and sponsored by Nature Vancouver in memory of Dr. Bert Brink.
Nature Vancouver volunteers have built a kiosk at the entrance to the farm, with building supplies kindly donated by Dunbar Lumber. At the kiosk visitors may pick up a copy of the guide, map of the farm and a bird list. PDF copies are also available at these links:
Members of Nature Vancouver have been conducting monthly bird surveys for about 18 months now. These surveys are held on the third Sunday of every month starting at 8am (March to August) and 9am (September to February). Please contact Sue Kay-Downs at 604-569-3058 if you would like to participate. The survey is very informal and experts as well as the beginners are welcome to help and learn.
