30 July - 3 August (approximate dates)

Expeditionary backpacking trip to Tweedsmuir Provincial Park, immediately following the first week of the summer camp in the Niut Range. This will be a fairly strenuous 3-4 night trip; we will hike to a base camp and then explore parts of the Rainbow Range and/or Crystal Lake areas. Each participant will be responsible for his/her own equipment and provisions.

This is a remote wilderness area, mostly unpatrolled and untravelled, and we may be two days or more from any assistance with no emergency phone or cellphone. Some rough and uncleared trails and routes, and unbridged creek crossings, are to be expected. We ask that each person have previously completed at least one overnight backpacking trip prior to taking part in this trip.
