Discovery is a journal of natural history and conservation for British Columbia. It is presently published once a year by Nature Vancouver as a service to its members. Articles on all aspects of natural history in the province are welcome from all contributors, whether subscribers or not.

Where possible, please submit material in MS Word. Otherwise, please type or write neatly and double-space. The editors reserve the right to make changes for clarity, length, and content. If major changes are made, the revised text will be returned to the author for approval.

Images should be accompanied by captions and the name of the photographer, together with the photographer's permission allowing us to reproduce them.
Advertising:
$90.00 for half page; $150.00 for full page. For further details, contact the Advertising Editor Irmgard Dommel. Deadlines TBA. A fee may be charged for advertisements that are not camera-ready and which require design or layout work.
Subscription to Non Members:
We offer subscriptions to readers everywhere, whether or not they are members of Nature Vancouver. It is a journal of some 64 pages of articles of interest to natural history lovers in British Columbia. Recent issues have included articles such as “The Tidal Marshes of Fraser Delta: 75 Years of Growth and Change” by Michael Church; “Special Habitats: Drawdown Margins of B.C. and Yukon Lakes” by Bert Brink and “Some observations on Geomorphology and Botanical Relationships in the Blowdown Creek Area” by David Cook. Discovery also contains profiles of prominent naturalists and reports on Nature Vancouver Camps. In the future, we would like to have profiles and reports from all parts of the province. The subscriptions are $15 for two issues, $7.50 for one. Subscribers should mail their cheque or money order payable to the Vancouver Natural History Society, together with their address, to: Discovery, PO Box 3021, Vancouver, BC, V6B 3X5
